Bu politika, Mootchy mobil uygulamasını ve mootchy.com sitesini kullandığınızda hangi kişisel verileri işlediğimizi, neden işlediğimizi ve haklarınızı açıklar. Sade tutmaya çalıştık.

Mootchy'yi kullanmak için bir hesap açmanız gerekir. Sizden istediğimiz asgari bilgi budur.
Verilerinizi satmıyoruz. Reklam amaçlı takip yapmıyoruz. Reklam kimliği kullanmıyoruz.
Hesabınızı ve tüm verilerinizi uygulamanın içinden, bize sormadan kalıcı olarak silebilirsiniz.

Mootchy, Türkiye'de yerleşik olarak Fırat Polat tarafından geliştirilmekte ve işletilmektedir. Bu politika kapsamındaki veri sorumlusu odur.

İşlediğimiz veriler
- Hesap ve profil bilgileri. E-posta adresiniz, kullanıcı adınız, görünen adınız, biyografiniz, dilerseniz eklediğiniz profil fotoğrafınız, doğum tarihiniz, favori türleriniz, favori yapımlarınız ve hesap gizlilik tercihleriniz.
- Profil fotoğrafı. Fotoğraf eklemek zorunlu değildir. Galerinizden seçtiğiniz veya kamerayla çektiğiniz fotoğraf, yüklenmeden önce cihazınızda yeniden boyutlandırılır ve yeniden kodlanır; bu işlem, fotoğrafın çekildiği konum gibi gömülü üstverileri (EXIF) siler. Yalnızca işlenmiş görsel (küçük bir JPEG) saklanır. Profil fotoğrafınız diğer Mootchy kullanıcılarına görünür: profilinizde, yorumlarınızın ve etkinliklerinizin yanında, Mootchy Night odalarında ve arkadaşlarınızın listelerinde. Fotoğrafınızı dilediğiniz zaman Profili Düzenle → Fotoğraf bölümünden değiştirebilir veya kaldırabilirsiniz; kaldırdığınızda ya da yerine yenisini koyduğunuzda eski dosya silinir. Hesabınızı sildiğinizde fotoğrafınız da silinir.
- Uygulama içi etkinlikleriniz. Beğendiğiniz ve geçtiğiniz yapımlar, verdiğiniz puanlar, yazdığınız yorumlar, oluşturduğunuz listeler ve onlara seçtiğiniz kapaklar, izleme hedefleriniz ve istatistikleriniz, vizyona girince haber verilmesini istediğiniz yapımlar (vizyon hatırlatmaları), arkadaşlık bağlantılarınız, katıldığınız Mootchy Night (Film Gecesi) oturumları, bu oturumlardaki oylarınız ve eşleşmeler, engelleme ve şikâyet kayıtlarınız, bildirim kayıtlarınız ve bildirim tercihleriniz.
- Teknik bilgiler. Cihaz modeli, işletim sistemi sürümü, uygulama sürümü, cihaz dili, IP adresinizden türetilen yaklaşık konum bilgisi (ülke ve şehir düzeyinde) ve bildirim gönderebilmemiz için cihazınıza ait bildirim anahtarı.
- Ürün kullanım ölçümleri. Uygulamanın hangi bölümlerinin kullanıldığını anlamak amacıyla sınırlı sayıda uygulama içi olay kaydedilir. Bu kayıtlarda kimliğiniz yalnızca hesabınıza ait rastgele üretilmiş bir tanımlayıcı ile temsil edilir; e-posta adresiniz veya kullanıcı adınız bu kayıtlara dahil edilmez. İzlediğiniz veya beğendiğiniz yapımların adları da bu kayıtlara dahil edilmez.
- Hata ve çökme kayıtları. Uygulama beklenmedik şekilde kapandığında teknik hata kaydı, cihaz bilgisi ve hesap tanımlayıcınız kaydedilir.
Toplamadığımız veriler
Konum servislerinizden, rehberinizden veya mikrofonunuzdan hiçbir veri toplamıyoruz. Fotoğraf galerinize ve kameranıza yalnızca siz bir profil fotoğrafı seçmek ya da QR kod taramak istediğinizde, o an için erişiriz; galerinizi taramayız ve seçtiğiniz fotoğraf dışında hiçbir görüntüyü saklamayız. Ekran kaydı almıyoruz. Reklam kimliği kullanmıyoruz ve reklam ağlarıyla veri paylaşmıyoruz.
Cihaz izinleri
- Kamera: arkadaş eklemek için QR kod taramak veya profil fotoğrafı çekmek istediğinizde. QR taramasında görüntü kaydedilmez ve hiçbir yere gönderilmez; çektiğiniz profil fotoğrafı yalnızca siz onayladığınızda yüklenir.
- Fotoğraf galerisi: yalnızca profil fotoğrafı seçmek istediğinizde. Yalnızca seçtiğiniz fotoğraf işlenir.
- Bildirimler: arkadaşlık istekleri, Mootchy Night davetleri ve eşleşmeleri, haber vermemizi istediğiniz yapımların vizyon hatırlatmaları için. Kategorileri uygulama ayarlarından tek tek kapatabilirsiniz. İzin vermeyi reddedebilirsiniz, uygulama yine çalışır.
- İnternet ve ağ durumu: içerik çekmek ve çevrimdışı durumu anlamak için.
İşleme amaçlarımız
Verilerinizi hizmetin sunulması ve sürdürülmesi, hesabınızın oluşturulması ve güvenliğinin sağlanması, size uygun içerik önerilerinin üretilmesi ve kişiselleştirilmesi, arkadaşlık ve Film Gecesi özelliklerinin çalıştırılması, bildirimlerin iletilmesi, hataların tespit edilip giderilmesi, kötüye kullanımın ve güvenlik ihlallerinin önlenmesi, ürünün geliştirilmesi ve istatistiksel analiz yapılması amaçlarıyla işliyoruz.
Hukuki dayanaklarımız
Hesabınızın kurulması ve hizmetin sunulmasına ilişkin işlemler, sözleşmenin kurulması ve ifası dayanağına; güvenlik, hata giderme ve ürün geliştirmeye ilişkin işlemler, temel hak ve özgürlüklerinize zarar vermemek kaydıyla meşru menfaat dayanağına; bunların dışında kalan işlemler açık rızanıza dayanır. Açık rızaya dayanan işlemler hizmetin kullanılmasının koşulu değildir ve rızanızı dilediğiniz zaman geri alabilirsiniz.
Hizmet sağlayıcılarımız
Hizmeti sunabilmek için sınırlı sayıda hizmet sağlayıcı kullanıyoruz: veritabanı, kimlik doğrulama ve dosya depolama altyapısı, ürün kullanım ölçümü, hata izleme, uygulama güncellemelerinin dağıtımı ve bildirim iletimi, Google ve Apple ile giriş özellikleri. Bu sağlayıcılar verilerinizi yalnızca bizim adımıza ve bu politikada belirtilen amaçlarla işler. Sağlayıcıların sunucuları yurt dışında bulunabilir; ürün kullanım ölçümü ve hata izleme hizmetlerimiz Avrupa Birliği bölgesinde barındırılmaktadır.

Verinin nerede tutulduğu
Veriler, profil fotoğrafları ve bekleme listesi dahil, Supabase altyapısında, Avrupa Birliği (Frankfurt) bölgesindeki sunucularda saklanır. Sağlayıcılarımızdan bazıları Türkiye ve AB dışında bulunabilir; bu durumda aktarım, ilgili sağlayıcının standart sözleşme hükümleri kapsamında gerçekleşir.
Toplulaştırılmış ve anonim veriler
Kimliğinizle ilişkilendirilemeyecek şekilde toplulaştırılmış ve anonim hale getirilmiş istatistikler üretebiliriz. Bu istatistikler bireysel kullanıcılara geri döndürülemez ve kişisel veri niteliği taşımaz. Bu nitelikteki istatistikleri üçüncü taraflarla paylaşabilir veya lisanslayabiliriz. Kişisel verilerinizi hiçbir koşulda satmayız ve veri simsarlarıyla paylaşmayız.
Saklama süresi
Hesap ve profil verileriniz hesabınız açık kaldığı sürece saklanır. Hesabınızı sildiğinizde bu veriler ve bunlara bağlı uygulama içi kayıtlarınız sistemlerimizden kaldırılır. Ürün kullanım ölçümleri ve hata kayıtları, hizmet sağlayıcılarımızın saklama süreleri boyunca tutulur. Toplulaştırılmış ve anonim istatistikler, kişisel veri niteliği taşımadıkları için hesap silinmesinden etkilenmez.
- Hesap silme geri alınamaz.
- Profil fotoğrafınız siz kaldırana veya hesabınızı silene kadar saklanır; yerine yenisini koyduğunuzda eski dosya silinir.
- Çıkış hatırlatmalarınız siz kaldırana veya hesabınızı silene kadar saklanır.
- Bekleme listesi adresleri, lansman duyurusu gönderilene kadar veya siz çıkmak isteyene kadar saklanır.
- Çökme kayıtları en fazla 90 gün tutulur.
Haklarınız
Kişisel verilerinizin işlenip işlenmediğini öğrenme, işlenmişse buna ilişkin bilgi talep etme, işlenme amacını ve amacına uygun kullanılıp kullanılmadığını öğrenme, yurt içinde veya yurt dışında verilerinizin aktarıldığı üçüncü kişileri bilme, eksik veya yanlış işlenmiş olması hâlinde düzeltilmesini isteme, silinmesini veya yok edilmesini isteme, bu işlemlerin verilerinizin aktarıldığı üçüncü kişilere bildirilmesini isteme, işlenen verilerin münhasıran otomatik sistemlerle analiz edilmesi suretiyle aleyhinize bir sonuç ortaya çıkmasına itiraz etme ve kanuna aykırı işleme sebebiyle zarara uğramanız hâlinde zararın giderilmesini talep etme haklarına sahipsiniz.
Bu haklarınızı kullanmak için support@mootchy.com adresine yazabilirsiniz. Hesabınızı uygulama içinden doğrudan silebilirsiniz. Talebinize en geç 30 gün içinde dönüş yaparız.
Tercihleriniz
Ürün kullanım ölçümünü uygulama ayarlarından kapatabilirsiniz. Bildirim tercihlerinizi kategori bazında yönetebilirsiniz. Profilinizin görünürlüğünü uygulama ayarlarından belirleyebilirsiniz. Profil fotoğrafınızı Profili Düzenle bölümünden dilediğiniz zaman değiştirebilir veya kaldırabilirsiniz; bir vizyon hatırlatmasını ilgili yapımın sayfasından kaldırabilirsiniz.
Hesabınızı silmek
Uygulamada Profil → Ayarlar (sağ üstteki dişli) → Hesap → Tehlikeli Bölge → Hesabı Sil yolunu izleyin. Hesabınız, profil fotoğrafınız, beğenileriniz, listeleriniz, puanlarınız, yorumlarınız, hedefleriniz, vizyon hatırlatmalarınız, arkadaşlıklarınız ve Mootchy Night geçmişiniz kalıcı olarak silinir. Apple ile giriş yaptıysanız silme sırasında Apple'ın doğrulama sayfası açılır; sayfayı tamamlamadan kapatırsanız hesabınız silinmez.
Uygulamaya erişiminiz yoksa hesap silme sayfasına bakın.
Çocuklar
Mootchy 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklara yönelik değildir ve bilerek onlardan veri toplamayız. 13 yaşın altında bir kullanıcıya ait veri topladığımızı fark edersek sileriz. Ebeveynseniz ve böyle bir durumdan şüpheleniyorsanız bize yazın.
Değişiklikler
Bu politikayı güncellersek bu sayfadaki tarihi değiştiririz. Önemli bir değişiklik olursa uygulama içinden veya e-postayla haber veririz.

Privacy Policy
This policy explains which personal data we process when you use the Mootchy mobile app and mootchy.com, why we process it, and what rights you have. We have tried to keep it plain.
In short
You need an account to use Mootchy. That is the minimum we ask of you.
We do not sell your data. We do not track you for advertising. We do not use an advertising identifier.
You can permanently delete your account and all of your data from inside the app, without asking us.
Data controller
Mootchy is developed and operated by Fırat Polat, based in Türkiye, who is the data controller for the purposes of this policy.

Data we process
- Account and profile information. Your email address, username, display name, biography, the profile photo you may choose to add, date of birth, favourite genres, favourite titles and account privacy preferences.
- Profile photo. Adding a photo is optional. A photo you pick from your library or take with the camera is resized and re-encoded on your device before upload; this removes embedded metadata such as the location where it was taken (EXIF). Only the processed image (a small JPEG) is stored. Your profile photo is visible to other Mootchy users: on your profile, next to your comments and activity, in Mootchy Night rooms and in your friends' lists. You can replace or remove it at any time in Edit Profile → Photo; removing it, or replacing it, deletes the previous file. Deleting your account also deletes your photo.
- Your activity in the app. The titles you like and pass on, the ratings you give, the comments you write, the lists you create and the covers you pick for them, your watching goals and statistics, the titles you ask to be told about when they are released (release reminders), your friend connections, the Mootchy Night (Movie Night) sessions you take part in, your votes and the matches from those sessions, your block and report records, your notification records and your notification preferences.
- Technical information. Device model, operating system version, app version, device language, approximate location derived from your IP address at country and city level, and the notification key for your device so that we can deliver notifications.
- Product usage measurements. A limited number of in-app events is recorded so that we can understand which parts of the app are used. In these records you are represented only by a randomly generated identifier belonging to your account; your email address and username are not included. The titles you watch or like are not included either.
- Error and crash records. When the app closes unexpectedly, a technical error record, device information and your account identifier are recorded.
Data we do not collect
We collect nothing from your location services, contacts or microphone. We access your photo library and camera only at the moment you choose to pick a profile photo or scan a QR code; we do not scan your library and we store no image other than the photo you choose. We do not record your screen. We do not use an advertising identifier and we do not share data with advertising networks.
Device permissions
- Camera: when you choose to scan a QR code to add a friend or to take a profile photo. When scanning a QR code no image is stored or transmitted; a profile photo you take is uploaded only once you confirm it.
- Photo library: only when you choose to pick a profile photo. Only the photo you select is processed.
- Notifications: for friend requests, Mootchy Night invitations and matches, and release reminders for titles you asked us about. You can switch each category off in the app settings. You may decline the permission, and the app still works.
- Internet and network state: to fetch content and detect when you are offline.
Purposes of processing
We process your data to provide and maintain the service, to create and secure your account, to produce and personalise content recommendations for you, to operate the friendship and Movie Night features, to deliver notifications, to detect and fix errors, to prevent abuse and security breaches, and to improve the product and carry out statistical analysis.
Legal bases
Processing relating to the creation of your account and the provision of the service rests on the conclusion and performance of a contract. Processing relating to security, error correction and product improvement rests on legitimate interests, provided that this does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms. Any other processing rests on your explicit consent. Processing based on consent is not a condition of using the service, and you may withdraw your consent at any time.
Our service providers
We use a limited number of service providers in order to deliver the service: database, authentication and file storage infrastructure, product usage measurement, error monitoring, distribution of app updates and notification delivery, and sign-in with Google and Apple. These providers process your data solely on our behalf and for the purposes set out in this policy. Their servers may be located outside your country; our product usage measurement and error monitoring services are hosted in the European Union region.

We may also disclose data to competent authorities where a legal obligation arises.
Where data is held
Data, including profile photos and the waitlist, is stored on Supabase infrastructure on servers in the European Union (Frankfurt). Some of our providers may be located outside Türkiye and the EU; in that case the transfer takes place under that provider's standard contractual clauses.
Aggregated and anonymised data
We may produce aggregated and anonymised statistics that cannot be associated with your identity. Such statistics cannot be traced back to individual users and do not constitute personal data. We may share or license statistics of this nature with third parties. We do not sell your personal data under any circumstances and we do not share it with data brokers.
Retention
Your account and profile data are retained for as long as your account remains open. When you delete your account, this data and the in-app records attached to it are removed from our systems. Product usage measurements and error records are retained for the retention periods of our service providers. Aggregated and anonymised statistics are unaffected by account deletion, as they do not constitute personal data.
- Account deletion cannot be undone.
- Your profile photo is kept until you remove it or delete your account; replacing it deletes the previous file.
- Release reminders are kept until you remove them or delete your account.
- Waitlist addresses are kept until the launch announcement is sent or until you ask to be removed.
- Crash records are kept for at most 90 days.
Your rights
You have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information where it has been processed, to learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose, to know the third parties to whom your data is transferred at home or abroad, to request correction where the data is incomplete or inaccurate, to request erasure or destruction, to request that these actions be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred, to object to an outcome adverse to you arising from analysis carried out solely by automated systems, and to claim compensation where you suffer loss due to unlawful processing.
To exercise these rights, write to support@mootchy.com. You can delete your account directly from within the app. We will respond within 30 days at the latest.
Your choices
You can turn off product usage measurement in the app settings. You can manage your notification preferences by category. You can set the visibility of your profile in the app settings. You can replace or remove your profile photo at any time in Edit Profile, and remove a release reminder from that title's page.
Deleting your account
In the app go to Profile → Settings (the gear at the top right) → Account → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Your account, profile photo, likes, lists, ratings, comments, goals, release reminders, friendships and Mootchy Night history are permanently erased. If you signed in with Apple, Apple's verification page opens during deletion; if you close it without completing it, your account is not deleted.

Children
Mootchy is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If we learn that we have collected data from a user under 13 we will delete it. If you are a parent and suspect this, please write to us.
Changes
If we update this policy we will change the date on this page. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email.
